Ship
The current market for third-party AEC tooling is scattered and unmanaged, creating a disconnect between developers and users. Ship is a vehicle to connect your tools and content directly with the teams that need them. With Ship, you can discover, install, and deploy custom tooling serving all facets of the AEC community.

Overview
An open-source deployment platform I helped conceptualize and develop across a big part of 2020 and 2021, it's a full-fledged desktop app and the result of months of teamwork in a group of architects that code at Voyansi. I'm proud to have contributed to the project, and I learned a lot in the process (mostly thanks to my colleagues Grant and Mark, who are some of the smartest people I know).
Ever since we made the transition to software from Architecture, the power of the open-source community has amazed us. Through passion and collective action, knowledge and tools are made available to all. This openness is what allowed us to learn and grow as coders and deeper architects.
“A rising tide lifts all boats” and Ship is our effort to lift all users. With Ship, we’ve honed in on the friction between developer and user and removed it.
With Ship, as a user, you can install, update, and uninstall add-ons and software packages with one click. If you’re a developer, Ship automatically syncs with your Github repos for existing and new releases.
Ship is open-source and open to the community.
The team that we formed has poured their passion into this project, and we hope it brings you the same joy as it does us. To users, we hope you’ll discover BIM tools easy to find and use.
To developers, we hope you’ll find it easy to ship your code and connect with users. For enterprises, you can manage private packages, create user groups and set access levels, and so much more.
